You wrote this a while back and I've only got around to reading it now.

I'd never understood why people weren't keen on the idea of living forever until now. You've articulated it in such a clear way, a characteristically morbid but also wryly funny way, that it finally makes a bit more sense.

Delving into a personal, emotionally-heavy topic without it sounding trite or schlocky isn't easy either. I also felt really immersed in the writing. I know it sounds cliché but the little details about Edinburgh transported me there.
